Highcliffe castle heritage center

Tucked just east of Christchurch is Highcliffe castle. A listed building the castle benefits from some fantastic grounds and beautiful architecture.

Originally built in the 1830′s by Lord Stuart de Rothesay it has a rich heritage and boasts some nice touches such as gargoyles and stain glass windows.

Open in it’s current guise since 1995 – the castle has become a popular location for weddings and events. Throughout the year the castle offers numerous exhibitions and shows. For avid walkers the boundary of the estate allows access to coastal paths running to mudeford providing some lovely seaside views.
